With opportunities ranging from writing press releases to planning annual award events, IABC Colorado offers a wide variety of opportunities to members to support the chapter while gaining valuable experience and contacts. Each volunteer commitment may be tailored to how much time you have available to support the chapter.

Director of Sponsorship Development

An appointed board position. Liaison with existing sponsors and prospects; handle sponsorship inquiries, communicate regularly with IABC Colorado president; follow through on supplying new sponsor’s logo to VP communication; and be sponsors’ contact before, during and after events. The position reports to the Chapter President. Must be a current member of IABC. READ MORE

Director of Communication

Provide assistance to vice president of communications in executing the communications plan for the chapter, including drafting press releases, newsletter and Web site content.

Membership Ambassador

Support vice president of membership in retention and recruitment efforts. Assists with greeting members at monthly meetings, distributing membership information at IABC Colorado events and other local events, planning annual membership appreciation event, and following up with new and prospective members.

Director of Professional Development

Assists vice presidents of professional development with monthly educational meetings. Tasks may include pre- and onsite event logistics and drafting meeting-related correspondence.
