Becoming a Leader's Strategic Advisor

Session Description
What does it mean to be a leader’s trusted advisor? For a communication professional, it’s about meeting a leader where she/he is, first. Understanding a leader's passions, and uncovering their strengths and weaknesses, can help you build a relationship built on trust. From there, you can more easily advise leaders on their communication strategies and help them become better at delivering key messages, even if they’re not naturally comfortable doing so. In this session, Robin will share a few methods, based on her career experience working with senior leaders, to help you develop more meaningful relationships with the leaders you advise.
November 10, 11:30 a.m.
Cost is free for members and nonmembers, but registration is required to receive the link.
